Event Activities
Animal Viewing Stations - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Visit desert animals in their habitat! Stations will be located throughout the event.
Book Signing - 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Gerald A. Rosenthal will be signing his book "Sonoran Desert Life".
Educational Seminars - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
All seminars will focus on water conservation in the landscape, land stewardship and pet care.
Garden Tours and Desert Hikes - Tours throughout the day on a regular basis
Tour the Caroline Bartol Preserve. Animals and wildlife educators will be stationed along the hiking trail to create a feeling of exploration and adventure for the young and the young at heart.
Pet Adoptions - 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Visit adoptable animals at the Foothills Animal Rescue, Amazing Aussies, Arizona Beagle Rescue, Arizona Chihuahua Rescue, Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue and Rescue a Golden.
Plant Sale - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Native, culinary and desert adapted plants will be available.
