Plant Sale Overview

The plant sale will be held on the library’s patio during the Saguaro Hill Festival. The plants sale will offer a one-stop shopping experience for desert adapted plants, native seeds, culinary herbs and native food crops.

All plants are on the Cave Creek Approved Plant List. The plants will have labels identifying Common Name, Scientific Name, and Cave Creek Planting Zone which include A-Native Habitat Corridor, B-Natural Buffer Area, C-Transitional Area and D-Private Area. Plants will be organized in the sales area by Cave Creek Zones.

Plants discussed in the Educational Seminars will be available for sale.

A ‘black pot’ recycling day will be held in the library parking lot approximately two weeks after the plant sale. As black pots are not usually recyclable, the event has made arrangements with the wholesaler to recycle them.
